![]() ![]() ![]() Note: I must to say that, together with PK's recording, there are another great too recordings of this tune, as by Carl Roland Billner, Ellert Nordmark, Roger Paulsson, where in all these we can find the same more clear and less nasalized sound that I'm not getting in my recording.ġ) As I can listen in this comparative tone example, the main different are concerning to a more nasalized and less clear sound in my recording.unless another others details that could be pointed to me. ![]() Here's a audio comparative test, where the first verse it's mine recording and the second verse it's from Pete Korving's recording. I just posted a very recently re-recording (Secrets of the Sea) and I have some doubts and some question about the searching of a specific tone, mainly in non-shadows tunes where we need to do some additional adjusting in tone to find something good to our ears or something closer to a reference top recording.Īlthough I'm using this my recent recording as an example in this discussion, this isn't a a thread just for that Secrets of the Sea post, but a more wide discussion about how we can go closer (in the mixing process) to a specific audio reference.
